Treatment procedures available in-house are as follows: mud packs, carbonated baths, Jacuzzi massages, gas wraps, classic and reflex massages, remedial gymnastics, acupuncture, inhalation, lavatherm, cryotherapy, gas injections, magnetic therapy and electrotherapy procedures. Currently, 70 compartments for carbonated baths are available. The natural mineral water is supplied in the building and further piped to individual tubs, in which it is pre-heated up to the desired temperature. Nurses in the house are on duty 24 hours a day and medical aid the patients is also assured.

Staffing and instrumentation are thus in conformity with the specialisation. The full-scope medical rehabilitation treatment is provided under the supervision of 3 specialists, 7 nurses, 10 rehabilitation nurses and 3 physiotherapists/masseurs. The rehabilitation department is located in the Aesculap House, which is linked-up with the main building on all the floors and in which all the treatment procedures are provided. There are several gyms for individual and group exercises, reflex and classics massages, body-building and mechanic therapy. A department of electrotherapy is also available (offering diadynamic powers and interference currents, electrostimulating apparatus, ultrasound, infra-red lampsolux, quartz lamps, magnetic field aided treatment) together with paraffin packs and gas injections. Apart from standard treatment methods, the patients are treated with a use of laser, acupuncture and manual medicinal methods.

Traditional full-scope spa treatment facilities are also available, such as carbonated baths, a whirlpool for 6 persons, gas wraps, sauna and steam bath, whirl baths, Scottish jets, bubble bath, underwater massages (Jacuzzi pool), foot step-in bath. A pool sized 12 x 6 m, of a stable temperature of 32°C is much favoured (access to wheel chairs): it is used for exercises in water and, in the afternoon, it is available. For swimming. Classic massages and solarium are available. In a word, anything needed for a successful treatment may be found in our spa house, under the same roof.

For drinking cure, however, it is only a couple of steps to take to reach the Spa Colonnade or the Forest Spring pavilion.

These spa facilities are to be found some 350 m away from the Labe house. To make up for this slight inconvenience, the guests staying with us may enjoy the advantage of close proximity to the springs on the colonnade situated right under the windows of the house. Modern medicine has proven that targeted preventive spa stays – however restricted the period of 3-4 weeks may be –may dramatically reduce the risks of heart and vascular disease development. Therefore, this house is meant to serve not only ill guests but also people in search of rest and relaxation.

Treatment of obesity, kidney and urinary tract illnesses, illnesses of the airways and gynaecological illnesses is also successful. In recent years treatment for an improvement of sexual functions has gained great popularity. The absolute priority in treatment is the use of natural therapeutic springs.

The mineral water for therapeutic baths has a unique composition. It contains more than two grams of natural CO2 per litre and more than two grams of mineral salts per litre and humic acid which are an important part of the peat, and their presence in the mineral water in Nové lázne is a rarity. Baths reduce blood pressure, improve cardiac and kidney performance, and improve the blood supply to the brain and lower limbs. Natural therapeutic gas (99.7% natural CO2) is administered in the form of a gas poultice, which has an effect identical to the CO2 contained in the mineral baths but is more gentle and is therefore more popular with older people. This procedure is becoming more and more popular, because in addition to a reduction in blood pressure, an improvement in cardiac activity and the blood supply to the lower limbs, patients note a significant improvement in sexual functions. This natural therapeutic gas is also applied in the form of subcutaneous injections. This procedure, called gas injection, achieves remarkable therapeutic results for illnesses of the joints, spine and ischaemic heart disease.

The great advantage of Nové lázne is that all procedures are carried out here under one roof, including the two swimming pools in the complex of the Roman Baths. In the building there is the beautiful Roman Baths complex with two swimming pools, where in addition to exercise and swimming it is possible to undergo a whole range of differing hydrotherapeutic procedures. One popular component of the treatment are various forms of massage – classic, underwater, reflexive and spring. In Nové lázne a gymnasium, inhalation, paraffin, various types of electrotherapy, rehabilitation exercise and oxygen therapy are also available. One newly introduced treatment consists of peat baths and mud-peat poultices. Mud vaginal tampons are used for gynaecological indications. Hydrocolon therapy – irrigation of the large intestine along with classic stomach massage – is very useful for digestive problems. This method is used especially for patients suffering from various digestive problems, and it rids the body of harmful substances. One special offer for the demanding client is a mineral bath in the "Royal Cabin", which King Edward VII used for his treatment. In the sanatorium it is also possible to utilise above-standard medical services – urologist (especially for illnesses of the prostate gland), examination of the cardiovascular organ, ultrasonic examination or sclerosing of varicose veins.
