Show of Young Talents at the "Podzimní Pohádka" Festival

www.ententyky.cz) – Already for the third time this year, the international music and dancing festival of young people called "Podzimní Pohádka" (Autumn Fairytale) capped the show of young talents. During the festival, the audience had a chance to see the dancing and choir ensembles from the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Belarus. The ceremonial opening concert was held on October 30 in KD Teplice. Nineteen performing ensembles showed here their talents and mastery art within various dancing and singing genres.
During the final gala concert held on November 02 in the Pyramida Hotel in Prague, the audience saw the show of the best performances. The best ensembles were selected by the judgment panel composed of merit artists from the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Russia and Ukraine headed by the chairwoman Miroslava Pešiková – National Artist of the former Czechoslovakia and Prima Ballerina of the National Theater.
At the end of the international autumn holiday, the ambassadors from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus passed the prizes to all participants. The most prizes were received by the Březňáček ensemble, Scratch dancing club from Děčín, Gracie choreography team from St. Petersburg, Vrbina children's folk ensemble from Prague, Asidora dancing ensemble from Odessa, Uslada national dancing ensemble from Samara, Fiesta modern dancing ensemble from Belarus, and Tortillas dancing group at DDM Šuplík in Kadaň.
The festival was supported by the Russian Embassy, Ustí nad Labem District Supervisor Mr. Jiří Šulc, Councilor of Prague City Hall Mr. Milan Richter, and Mayor of Municipal District Prague 6 Mr. Tomáš Chalupa.
Already soon the audiences and ensembles around the world can look forward to the next part of the festival called "Zimní Pohádka" (Winter Fairytale) organized by JS Group, which will be held on January 04, 2008 in KD Teplice and on January 6, 2008 in the Prague Convention Center.
